Susan Anspach

Susan Anspach joins us from Bakersfield California, with over 20 years experience in the Decorative Painting and Faux Finishing industry. Susan, Faux Effects Silver distributor and instructor (formerly Aqua Finishing Solutions) has been working with this product line for nearly 10 years. She has extensive knowledge and experience in creating beautiful and innovative finishes with these products. She is a certified Faux FX Gold applicator as well as a teaching partner for the Extraordinary Stenciled Effects program under Melanie Royals. Susan has recently begun as guest instructor at Faux Masters Studio California and Arizona. Her ability to integrate design concepts of color, texture and balance are reflected in her commissioned work which can be viewed online at www.fauxfxca.com.

Susan is passionate about teaching and also has committed herself to ongoing training with the ever growing Faux Effects product line. "My teaching style is to provide students with the most I possibly can and have them use all the senses possible in a class setting. I provide precise written formulas, have students take lots of notes in terms that are meaningful to them, listen to instruction, watch demonstrations, and perform the procedures. I believe they will be most likely to duplicate a finish or expand on it, with confidence, in a real world setting, by applying all of these factors. Jokes and laughter help a lot too!
