Jeannine Dostal

Jeannine Dostal, author of "Spectacular Walls", Has always had a love for design and art. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati's fashion design program, her first job took her to India where she designed beaded and sequined gowns. Other design jobs included graphics and embroidery.

 

In the early 1990's, Jeannine began her work with faux finishes. She received extensive Training from Faux Effects International, Prismatic Painting Studio, The Finishing School, and countless other classes. She also learned the art of authentic fresco from the School of Adam in Nice, France. As a renowned author of faux finishing books and a decorative artist field, Jeannine brings her wealth of knowledge into the classroom, teaching incredible Specialty techniques as a guest instructor for Seattle School of Decorative Painting^TM. Her work has also been published in many notable publications including, most recently, Faux Effects World Volume VI.
